Helke was an outstanding human being, she spent her whole career helping disadvantaged families and children through her job with social services but, she many often times went beyond her remit and helped personally with guidance, even finances, her heart was huge.


Helka was an outstanding Mother, her protection, caring and love saw no bounds. 
Andrea,  her grandchildren Nia and Serin were her shining light and a testament  to her.


I remember meeting Helke when I walked into a nightclub in Birmingham, I saw this stunning woman across the room and fell in love instantly.


She was so much fun to be around...and could she drink!..one instance, that is still spoke about is, one Sunday lunch in a bar we used to frequent, after a full luch session, an England footballer we knew  challenged her to a gin marathon.. looser pays...she drank 21 gins, which promoted the sportsman to quit after 20, not satisfied, she promptly said "cheers", picked up the drink he had refused and downed it, deafening applause and whooping and hollering rang out.


Her company on a night out was unsurpassed, she could hold a table without effort, people naturally gravitated towards her.


This amazing, beautiful, gifted, kind hearted woman shall be sorely missed by many many people.


Oh....and that laugh!
